Oh yeah there was also Assistant program manager wants to know if I need an extension on a project! Although that one was easy enough to handle since I was like UH I DON'T THINK WE'VE FINISHED THE FIELDWORK??? And it won't happen until next year.
ODOT wants something! The Corps wants something! A spill cleanup company wants something! Program manager wants me to write another report! I have a whole list of things I have to "learn" during my probation! Coworker wants help doing GIS!
Real "everything happens so much" day at work, which is not what I wanted to come back to after camping.
The thing about working from home is that I am absolutely working in sweats today and no one can stop me!!!!
HEY. HEY. GUESS WHAT ABSOLUTELY GOT USED THIS WEEKEND BECAUSE SOMEONE (absolutely not me) GOT A DEAD BATTERY. The fact that I packed 2 coffee makers in spite of only being one person also came in VERY, VERY HANDY.
Went camping. Now need a vacation to clean up from my vacation.
To be clear I have a topper on my truck bed I wasn't just... out in the elements. This is still not something I recommend, mind you, but I survived and there was no frostbite involved, so. Sleeping bag definitely lies about being a 0 degree bag, however.
The daytime temperatures are supposed to be nice! The nighttime ones... less so.
It is apparently literally below freezing right now where we are going camping, but considering I once slept in my truck bed when it got down to like 9 degrees, I think I will be fine. Possibly annoyed, but fine lol.
The GIS is possessed by demons today; that is the only thing that can explain the problems I'm having
