The problem gets complicated because Ivy and Spockles look identical at a glance, so sometimes they accidentally both get let out at the same time. We know when this happens because fighting begins almost immediately and Spockles screams like a banshee.
The problem gets solved at night because we have a sunroom off our house that Ivy gets locked into overnight to sleep in (donāt worry, she has toys and plants and windows and stuff to keep her occupied). But obviously she canāt be locked in a single room for eternity, so we get this situation lol
Ivy and Spockles would literally fight each other to the death if they were allowed to coexist, so we have to keep them forever separated. This means one gets locked up in a bedroom for 2-3 hours while the other gets to roam the house, then they get switched for another 2-3 hours, rinse and repeat.
Mood
My bed is exquisitely comfy tonight ngl
Thank you š
Thanks š Iām nervous about finding new work in this job market but I also feel a huge weight off of my shoulders about finally leaving my current situation ā it was really affecting my morale and mental health
Tl;dr - it was either I resign with my dignity intact (and still collect unemployment bc Iām resigning due to health reasons) or they would need to terminate me
Time for me to give my regular shout-out to this song for having the best lyric of any modern rock song tbh
Iām glad itās not for you. Thatās fucking scary. Someone on our block was served a warrant a couple weeks ago and that was scary enough. They always do it in the early morning hours š
