It depends on what kind of eating-cats-jokes are we talking about. Personally I prefer to fight with plain facts against Trump's lies. But to too many that's too complicated. Ridicule has a much better reach. Therefore eating-cats-jokes ridiculing that liar may be more efficient in stopping him.
