people are losing their minds. at least this time it's not me.
Pat went door-knocking (Dems only, MoCo) Sunday. Dem wife was in the BR & GOP husband answered. Said he’s never voted Dem before now & is planning to vote for Harris. Hates drumpf for J6, “We can’t let that happen to our country.” 🇺🇸
Friends in Amarillo have had their Harris/Walz signs stolen on three different occasions.
I think it’s people panicking that there isn’t the same energy we had during the DNC. Trump is not being eviscerated in the media the way he should be over his threats and so ppl are still traumatized from 2016
I just did the drive from DFW to ETX and it was wild. Some of the small towns in central TX were the first places I've been that even came close to the same level of enthusiasm for Trump that most places had LAST YEAR. And there was still a Harris/Walz and Allred sign in their midst!
Polls are BS. Frankly people aren't telling "pollsters" the truth. Plus I don't know a single person who's participated in a poll. Do you?
I think all the doom and gloom is targeted to reduce turnout when this 100% going to be an election that turns on enthusiasm
I think it’s important to remember that we’re all fuckin traumatized so it’s easy to catastrophize about everything. But I’m also just not seeing the support for him in Texas like I did in 2016 or even 2020. Not saying Harris has Texas on lock, but it feels important to note, if only for my sanity.
It’s the same in Oklahoma - there are a surprising amount of Harris/Walz signs up.
