Turns out an 18 lb carbon drop bar cyclocross bike on 700c x 32mm handles differently than a 30 lb steel vintage mountain bike on 26" x 53mm tires. Who knew!

Did a gravel event on the weekend, I was going much faster downhill on the gravel bike, than people riding mtbs. 38mm tires and drop bars, I stand up and have my weight back, and trust the bike
