Are any modern political debates even pretending to be "debates" like debate club? It's unfortunate that the only thing people get out of debates is sound bites and gotchas. No Lincoln/Douglas, for sure. Also, fuck Vance, in particular (don't want to be unclear).

I've always been a gamer, from Car Wars and Illuminati to Starship Troopers (1979 version) to HeroQuest. There was a pause after I left the Army, and then jumped back in with Carcassonne, which I played a bunch of around 2007, and just played a couple months ago. So, yes-ish. Don't play it often.

The psychology of crowdfunding campaign goals is bizarrely fascinating. I've backed campaigns that cancelled because, while they "funded" early, that funding goal was fiction, and they REALLY needed about ten times that.
I really hope we have so much turnout that even the most insane conspiracy nuts have to admit defeat. They won't, but I can hope.
How is this election not a complete blowout for Harris? I don't understand anyone who can read or listen to one of his 800-word sentences and think, "stunning intellect, I'll trust him with the safety of the planet."
