The reason we have the electoral college and the Senate is because the smaller states never would have joined the union if it meant always losing national elections. In other words, without it, the USA wouldn't have ever existed.

Looking at SESAC/Youtube battle... I think a big reason the EU is coming down so much harder on tech companies than the US is that the companies aren't from the EU. As an American, Google is annoying enough. But if they came from somewhere else, I'd really be like "fuck those guys."
I'm the kind of tired where existence hurts to much to enjoy anything, but if I go to sleep now I'll wake up at 3am and trash tomorrow, too
