do you realize you're victim blaming here? I don't think that you do, but you are. Blaming someone for how they protest injustice isn't cool, especially if it's non-violent. If people protest at the oppressor's comfort level, then it's not really a protest, is it?
for what it's worth, I saw the screenshot somewhere else, not here. and your beef should be with the staff that allowed the slur. Not the people who informed others that it exists.
I, a Black person who the racial slur targets, have no problem with the screenshot being circulated. I actually wanted to see it for myself to form my own conclusion. why does it bother you that it was circulated?

circulating is a smoke signal. again, we need to know of danger. why would you *not* want everyone to know that this blatant racism is allowed?
knowing that the BlueSky staff is allowing that racial slur but prohibited other slurs was DEFINITELY something I wanted to know. That coupled with the handling of it let me know to limit my time here and not to invite others because it's not safe. Quietly handling racism has never worked.
