Consultations by U.K. govt bodies aren’t intended to actually change or influence anything. They simply allow the dept / govt to say that they consulted the public. But that said, occasionally they do make a difference despite that not being their primary purpose 🤷‍♂️ The more responses the better!

Definitely. And, given this govt is on its way out, I think it just helps to show the strength of feeling against such a hateful, cynical move.
