If you yelled at the Harris campaign (rightfully) yesterday over its treatment of trans folks, I highly recommend you also write and recognize Walz’s statement today. As a former public servant, complaints become white noise, even at volume. Acknowledgement of what you want to see goes far.

I’ll be doing this in a moment myself. It got to the point in my libraries where we just made tally marks of comments that were basically the same, but people taking the time to explain impacts, both positively and negatively, tended to get kicked up the chain.

and regardless of the campaign's flaws, I think Walz's record as governor is very solid here.

What contact avenue are you using to reach out to them?

I'm keen to Walz, i lean more toward third party / independent but I'm keen to hear him out. I prefer Cornel West and Melina Abdullah, simply because they already done amazing things and are actually pro human rights advocates but Walz is trying, and I'm glad to see it.
