Which is also why in many (but not all) contexts in which 10 years ago I would've said "transphobia", I now instead specify "transmisogyny": to clarify that these behaviors are very prevalent even among trans allies, leftists, and TME queer people.

I explained this shit to a couple of cis friends as, if you offered me HRT or being seen by others as a girl and getting to call myself a girl, and you could only have one, it's HRT, no question. My primary issue is my body, and, like you're saying, it's just transmisogyny to view HRT in such a way.
