Hire more city librarians to keep them open longer a day too When I worked night shift, libraries were inaccessible to me because of their narrow daytime business hours.

Minneapolis schools added more librarians. Now books are flying off the shelves.

This year, the district fulfilled its promise to staff at least a half-time librarian at each school.
