I fully agree! But most other forms of harm are in some ways 'cruel' too, and it's 'ethical' to address as many as we can, as fast as we can! Quite a few vegans promote a sole focus on the cruelty to farm animals. I feel we might need a different word than 'ethical' for that...

(PS I've been vegan for 40 years, but by some vegans' understanding I'm not, because I consider ecosystem health, plant health, wildlife health, human health, etc, equally important)
