Any questions not directly related to the process of putting words down and making the words more like what you want to say--those questions can be addressed at the proper time. Which is almost always NEVER, don't let those stupid worries fool you into thinking they actually matter for the writing.

I tell my kid, who graduated 8th grade today, If you don't have a good idea start writing a bad one. Best case you'll think of something better along the way, worst case at least you finished the assignment.

For me, having the ideas is the only reason to write. Possibilities pop into my mind & I need to explore them. What other people think is a distant 5th on my list of priorities. I just want to explore the idea fully & shape it into something coherent & captivating.
