this is more or less the final speech i gave in my public speaking class a few weeks ago

when i was defining the difference between gender and sex i said something akin to "normative gender contains ideas like skirts being women's clothing and knighthood being men's jobs" and the slide had a dude in a skirt and a painting of joan of arc, all timed with my words. i was proud of it
