I know. Just I want to vote for a centre-left government that doesnât privatise everything, doesnât constantly attack the poor and vulnerable, and doesnât have raging anti-European xenophobia. All the options in effect are just Tories with different colour rosettes.
What, you donât know to use google (or any other search engine)?
Didnât even vote and donât regret it for a minute. Theyâre all the same, whoeverâs in charge itâs always austerity, privatisation and war.
Worried about the latter part. Particularly as Starmerâs lot would absolutely replace the NHS with private insurance.
Unfortunately, given what has happened in the Netherlands since they legalised euthanasia, I can absolutely believe that people considered âeconomically unviableâ will be marched off to clinics be put down. Why else would austerity zealot Starmer be rushing through the legalisation of euthanasia?
To be fair, Crash butchered their page count to pay for the switch to having monthly cover tapes. Their specialist, more technical columns (comms, coding, etc) vanished when the tapes became a regular feature.
Iâm happy still using MacOS. Itâs what I was looking for in Windows (as in, not Windows, more stable, decent to use) without the pain of Linux. Havenât liked some of the more recent additions to revisions of the OS, but most of those can thankfully (mostly) be turned off or sidestepped.
I have to admit that tried Linux in 2002, canât remember the âtypeâ (likely was RedHat), and it put me off for life, TBH. Seemed intriguing, and at least I gave it it goâŚ
I imagine a fair amount of those poor saps were catfished (or whatever the early â90s equivalent term was) as well. Possibly. Or most likely had replies almost entirely from software pirates asking for âcontactsâ.
Extraordinary rainfall distribution in UK in September. Bedfordshire and Oxfordshire saw their wettest month in our 188 year series. But only 25% wetter than average overall despite many areas having 3x average rainfall. More details in Met Office press release www.metoffice.gov.uk/about-us/new...
