Yeah but you gotta have the right shape battery and do you want to rely on 3rd parties for specially shaped lithium ion batteries 20 years after it's discontinued? I bought some USB rechargeable lithium ion AAs for my VR set and they go really nice with GBA, Wii remotes, and 360 controllers
