I think constitutional amendment is the only path out of this, surely. Limiting terms for SCOTUS would be a good idea, too.

It's not that I don't disagree, but a Constitutional amendment would require a 2/3 support in Congress, and then a 3/4 vote from state legislatures. In this political environment, it's impossible.
