Ag! I immediately agreed with you but then thought about it. I grew up with your comedy and that is obviously the best! I don't think current culture is rubbish but my preference seems to be from the past - not necessarily from my youth. One of my fav. films is Arsenic and Old Lace from the 40s.

And my music tastes includes a lot of jazz. Although there is great jazz around now, the the largest oeuvre comes from before I was born. And no one touches my heart as tenderly or deeply as Nina Simone. But I still don't think current music is rubbish
