The House and Senate are expected to give approval to a bill that would fund the government into December and avoid a federal shutdown just weeks before the Nov. 5 election.

No way! I thought for sure the House would follow Trump's self-immolating marching orders and do another shut down. Probably a good sign of defiance from a long-supine party. Their political muscles are doubtless sore from disuse and atrophy.
