Public schools exist to make better citizens, not teach your asshole kid how to read and write. The consensus ideology of a country should absolutely be pushed there. Republicans are just mad it’s not their ideology being pushed.

Counter point- AOC being a “regular democrat” is good actually. Her ideology hasn’t changed, her positions for the most part (everyone evolves) haven’t changed. More leftist democrats being normal democrats is great, unless losing is what gets you off.
