Yes. As far as I understand it basically anything and everything is a symptom of perimenopause.
On the plus side all food was edible despite the drama
I've made these veggie burgers dozens, possibly hundreds of times without incident. Therefore the moral of the study is don't eat meat kids!
Meanwhile the veggie burger is pan frying away and I've faffed about so much with the firealarm and the grill it's getting a bit burney. I go to turn it off/down/flip it over when a big bit of spitting oil lands in my face and burns off a layer of skin. It'll probably go into a blister tomorrow
So anyway, burgers are sizzling away and producing a worrying amount of smoke which sets off the fire alarm. Close the kitchen door, open the window, ineffectively waft a magazine at the fire alarm. By the time I get back to the kitchen the grill is making little fatty fireworks I am in a flap
Listen to my tale of woe. I am on my own with the kids tonight. Making burgers for dinner. I am veggie so I don't usually make the meat burgers but willing to give it a shot Meat burgers need to be done under the grill which I also don't really use.

One of my fave bits on here is that I can easily jump into German and French bluesky via feeds. That was much harder to do on twitter. Quite funny though at the moment about 60% of the German feed is people complaining about it being Monday
