The realization that I was told I can work from home for the first day because it’s only training, but I have to be downtown anyway for mandatory vaccination testing. Guess I’ll just try and find a coffee shop to sit in for a few hours to do training. Or hope my work won’t mind me being in the lobby
Man, I got work and starting next week, but that was a gruelling 10 month period of no work, and a large pay cut. At least the new work is going to be stable for awhile, which I could really use right now.
I’m now caught in the loop of having 5-6 years experience for work, but everywhere I’ve been applying for says I don’t have enough experience. Soooo, now I’m trying to look into tech training courses to try and expand my skill set. Hopefully it gets me somewhere…
I need to remind myself that Granblue Fantasy is a marathon, and not a burst type of game. Do what you can, and just change up what you’re working on when you’re bored. But dear god, I spent like 6 hours fighting PBaha just to get enough rust weapons for transcend Eternals, and that was painful.
I keep thinking about this one ramen place that I ate at in Shibuya back in November, and I can’t find a place in Toronto that has similar taste. I miss Nagaoka Ginger Ramen, I want to go back there next time I’m in Japan.
Today, begin building habits to exercise. Tomorrow, figuring out how to get game. Or buying FF7. That works too, right?
Playing OG Granblue Fantasy, and having intense regret not having a fast farming team for Mugen before they added the second weapon drop. Now it feels like I get bows at a 3-1 ratio to swords.
it's been long enough for me to admit publicly that when i left Gizmodo in 2022 I changed my Slack username to "S1ackbot" and the G/O Media failed to detect or delete it for months
