Hi, if the weed is such invasive...I guess I would try to scarifying the soil and get all roots out of the ground, very rigorous. How about some sunflowers at the walls? A various set of plants that have flowers at different times of the year (e.g. star magnolia). I’m thinking of loosely paving it somehow & planting creeping thyme and clover in between? But the bindweed destroys everything.
