Proposal streamlining – welcome changes! Yesterday ARC opened #FutureFellowships apps & they’ve (finally) taken on board calls to significantly reduce length, complexity & duplication. This similar to #LaureateFellowships, & hopefully #DECRA, but this 🧵 focusses on #FT24 👇

Are Laureate applications being streamlined too?

Any clues on possible DECRA changes? Bit frustrating to have possibly major changes but also short timeframes.

Main changes are in ROPE & Project Description. The old 5-page ROPE is now 1 page for contributions to field, impact, leadership & mentoring, plus ~200 words for 10 “career highlights”. Anyone rewriting an unsuccessful proposal will be annoyed, but a welcome change overall IMO.
