St Mary’s Church, Portchester. Built c.1133 within the walls of the Roman fort when Henry I founded a small priory of Augustinian Canons. They moved to nearby Southwick Priory shortly afterwards. Inside are beautiful Romanesque arches & a Norman font. #SteepleSaturday
