Yeah, at least in its current unethical, wasteful form. DNNs & ML are useful, chatbots as entertainment is okay with a little bit of ethical sense creating it, but yeah, the whole "we can gank everything, resell it, & it'll eventually be a super intelligence" hype cycle needs to go full FTX.
