You may not agree (there are many parts that I don't agree with) with the arguments of Adorno and his friend's work on authoritarian personality, but I think it's an amazing project. and could do anything you wanted?" Of course, they weren't interested in what that particular subject would do in actuality, but they were trying to understand the values and conflicts underlying his/her personality structure. I bet they don't ask these kinds of questions in focus groups now -+
