The Mourning Dove truly lives up to his name every time he opens up het beak by singing an incredibly sad song. Despite his perpetual sadness, he will happily come by every day to pick up seeds off the ground. What a life 🪶 #mourningdove
I always find the Golden-crowned Kinglet difficult to photograph. It will land on a branch and stay there for no more than, say, three seconds before deciding that this branch has nothing to offer and moves on to the next. Got the little bugger in the end!🪶
