There are few sights and sounds more joyous than the chattering of a flock of house sparrows eagerly pecking their way through a pile of seeds. This bird has adapted very well to life with humans and is without a doubt, despite its not-so-flashy colours, one of my favourite birds 🪶

The Shete Boka National Park houses beautiful coves along the rocky Northeastern coast of Curaçao, formed only by time and the water’s constant violence. Within the coves’ walls, beaches are littered with hermit crabs. They scurry around until you get too close and they hide in their borrowed shells
