Yes, I write them up as a Google doc and then just paste them into an email to the group. I try to do the same thing when we finish a big campaign, too. Something to put a little finality onto things and formally close the chapter before we move onto whatever is next.
As a DM and an author, I usually write a short story as an epilogue for them. Sometimes it’s about how the rest of the party is coping with their loss, but often it’s a flashback to a time before their death that tries to put some closure on their life in a respectful way.

Shout out to the #ForeverDM#ttrpg hobby would just be community theater.
How many different adventuring parties have you been in? For me, over the 40 years I’ve been playing #ttrpgs#ForeverDM nature of my gaming history revealed itself to me.
It’s a small milestone, but I’ve crossed 150 followers on this little account. Thanks for checking out the game, yous guys.
The thing that solidified this as the best episode for me is Homer's guardian angel showing up to him as Sir Isaac Newton because Homer works at a nuclear plant. But, of course Homer doesn't recognize Newton, so he changes form and becomes Colonel Klink from Hogan's Heroes.
The curse of the Forever DM. You can never just drop in and drop out of a game.
