We're supposed to get "just the tip" of Helene. I always have jugs of water and ice packs ready to go with our perishables into a Hide-a-Body sized cooler. Back up battery bonus and nat gas so we can have hot food. Frogs are going to love the rainfall amounts if they prove true.
idk, the internet from like 1994-2006 was “social networks constructed of people who like each other and share some affinity” and it was p fun, then the internet from 2006-2024 has been “social networks full of everybody, engagement driven by people being awful to each other” and it’s sucked ass
If you need rain, just start a yard project that should only take about an hour and involves minor electrical work. Works a treat. Frog Thespians flopped, squawked, and angst’d at me to leave. In October, all of this is being overhauled (hopefully). Then they’ll have something to be mad about.
Tonight there are no rules for grammar. NOW HANDLE IT
Finally wrapped up the houseplant move into the Gloom Room. The next four days are supposed to be cloudy and rainy which should prevent them from the shock of being moved from rooms with two windows to a room that is all windows. In theory. The elephant ears plant is being dramatic right now.
The yard reboot starts Mid-October since we had to rework a few things (because budgets exist) so that set us back. We’ll look at the forecasts closer to the date. If they can’t have the pond and add on pond completed before it gets cold, we can kick that back to Spring.
Waiting for the rain to start. The Gloom Room is 80% complete. We need to choose a treatment for the floor, have that sealed, and are replacing all the exterior doors. The fountain keeps the humidity high for the very happy houseplants. 78% and 74F
