So this happened today:

Screen shot showing the detail of a peal rung on 5 October on the bells of St Mary’s church Purton Wiltshire. It took 3 hours 17 minutes. The method was Bristol Surprise Major. The names of the eight bellringers are listed in order. The peal was rung to celebrate the ruby wedding anniversary of Alan and Gill Woodward. It was also the hundredth peal together by Simon and Richard.
