While usual factors of small print runs for dying system are parts of it; the end days of Turbo went a little further. Those TZDirect catalogs? Only way to buy games when stores stopped stocking.

Happy #TurbografxTuesday! At the end of its lifespan, and after stores stopped selling Turbo product; TurboZone Direct opened up to sell existing games and imports via mail order.

Meanwhile Megadrive/Genesis players had choices galore, even on CD. It's always intrigued me just how different the two platform's paths took. I take it you were able to order TurboDuos by mail order then as well?
