Hi! Right now I'm very bussy with my dayjob (and lots of bills to pay) but here and there I take some time to do art. Those two pieces are right now in progress, an oilpainting and a charcoal drawing, two very different media but both very rewarding.
Art studio is almost ready! Sorry for being so absent here, I'm just too busy getting everything ready. I'll show you how it's going on on a few days.
Good news I'm waiting for the electrical company to set up the electricity and then my art studio will be on!
Great news! Next week I'll sign the contract for my art studio, which means now I have to take It more seriously and make something off of my art.
Some of my favorite details! The magical forest, a very active ooze, and lots of critters... If you're ever interested in getting a handmade map for your own game, you can contact me at parkevelyne@gmail.com - I'm available for new work in the new year. 🎨
Throwback to this painting of Nissa (MtG) - just a moment of peace and reflection on Zendikar 🌿 Painted in acrylics on panel.
One painting down another one up. It's really nice to have subjects to paint without the need of inspiration from time to time. This one is a present for my brother who recently became a father.
A friend asked me to do a painting for her girlfriend on their aniversary and he sent me a very lovely photo but not so much for a painting of them. Anyway, I'm working on It doing my best.
That's what I'm working on right now on the sketchbook, a study for an oilpainting. Used to just add shadows working now from a midtone and using now the eraser not to erase mistakes but to being out lights is an interesting experience.
