There may be some merit for a kid getting an autism diagnosed if only to have access to modified education throughout school and university (like getting extra time on tests, etc) As an adult though, unless your level of disability is high, the world gives pretty much no incentive to get diagnosed.

Tldr, unless there is specific resources, disability access, etc that a diagnosis is required to access, there's pretty much zero point in getting it.
