Three pieces that i've been working on this week, from left to right: first: a being of light greenish-blues, wearing pink against a pink background - these are not colors i usually prefer, they usually are the hues of transition, but this week they have been strong in the rotation. The face is one of the kindest that i have ever rendered. They are holding their right side sympathetically, right where the pain gets debilitating when i cough. How odd. The next being, in shades of brown and shadows of purple, tilts their head onto their hand, staring at the viewer, listening, and this face makes me giddy with delight. Blue eyes are the main deviation from the subtle pallet. This last, the most unfinished of the three, is a woman with voluptuous curves dancing, hands over her head, in a more chunky style than usual, but that might not stay. by ashafenn
