We modeled the movement of a conservative tracer across a hillslope before and after stormwater control measures were constructed, and found that during all storms tracer mass arriving at the outlet was reduced due to SCMs. However the % decrease was small (<5%) in high intensity storms (>16 mm/h).
Our new paper on the impacts of stormwater control measures on urban runoff is out now! We found that storm intensity drives differences in the relative contribution of upstream areas and the effectiveness of SCMs. ascelibrary.org/doi/10.1061/...
