Forcing people, or as close to it as you can, to switch to true wireless earphones which are non-repairable (in most cases), or difficult to repair was a great business move for a stagnant market, but terrible for the planet and consumers. There is no justification for it other than greed.

So do I, and found a solution with a Lightning to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter. I plug it in to my iPhone, and plug my Apple headphones into that, et voilá! Better sound for music and microphone for phone calls.
