It's a difficult enough business as it is, even a super conservative drop in business would blow up so many cultural institutions. We're seeing it in the UK with energy prices alone rn.

As sucky as it is I think masking to eat sucks enough that it kills the entire industry. I'd say even for me I'd drop an uncomfortable percentage of in-house eating in exchange for takeout. Even the most well meaning people would probably reduce their consumption.

In fairness all of my friends who weren't into any of the above are now women, which makes a lot of sense in hindsight.
