Every once in a while I encounter someone driving by in an intentionally loud motorcycle blaring music from on-board speakers designed to be heard over the souped-up roar and I marvel at the variety inherent in the human condition that allows both myself & such a person to exist as the same species
Also the human intellect and technology that gave us Reaper drones and Hellfire sword-missiles, while also somehow not allowing them to be used on these people.
Never find yourself in Port Dover on a Friday the 13th then. The noise makes it through my in helmet music and earplugs with ease. 90% of the bikes there make my bike sound like a purring sleepy kitten.
I learned that motorcyclists make their motorcycles intentionally loud so that cars don't hit them.
Like a border collie & a greyhound are both dogs, and even within a similar size range... but what different interests (typically)!
I just had to jam in my earbuds and shut my living room window because someone decided to play really loud electronica somewhere outside. It's a nice day and I'd like to have my window open.🙁
There’s a guy in my town that likes to stand in the median of the road and wave a huge confederate/trump/blue line flag (he switches them out) and tries to get people to honk/ wave at him. He’s always out there for hours, sunburnt af, often with no water. I’m told he’s been at it for years now.
I was in Chicago a few weeks ago and someone on a motorcycle/trike, wearing a maga hat was so loud that everyone on the street turned to look at him. He loved it, and unfortunately for us, he was getting stopped at every intersection light so we had to hear him for the next 15 minutes. I was in hell
