Hey @support.bsky.team: I think it’s nice that when an account is flagged you ask people if they really want to see it or not when they click on the profile, BUT you really need to make it possible to block people without clicking on their profiles in that case.

This is one of the only tumblr features I find myself missing. Even in the case of less triggering content, the extra step is aggravating (especially when done several times in rapid succession bc you’re picky about what posts you want).

Yes. When a fake Elon Musk account follows me (just now, in fact) I want to block the account immediately. I don’t need to look at the profile. I assume this is some let’s-be-nicer-here Bluesky thing, but I don’t have time for it.

Right!? By clicking on their profile you teach the algorithm that you are interested! I despise anime, but love art. Somehow BlueSky thinks they are the same thing and plasters that kid stuff on my feed!

I'd also like an option to "remove this follower" from my page, because sometimes the block button feels a bit too drastic, but I still don't want what is clearly just a mass-following political/GoFundMe account in my follower list.

Yeahhh same with muting, i hope we can do it from the posts soon and not click profiles and make the algorithm go "you looked at this, u wanna see it clearly"

Like add “Block <Account Name>” to this menu that comes up on accounts you don’t follow. (Random example here, not someone I want to block.) @haileyok.com

I just signed up and I made the mistake of marking "art" as one of my interests. My feed is nothing but insane anime boobs and I cannot figure out how to get rid of it. Clicking "show less of this" does not seem to help...at all.

I've been wanting this so badly ever since I made an account here T_T (apparently I still managed to block more than 400 ppl almost entirely by hand, lol)

This. Please let us mute/block from the skeet. I've never needed the extra step of going to their profile to know someone is awful.
