The comet will be almost directly between Venus and Arcturus tonight! Once you see both those bright objects after sunset, scan between them with binoculars or take a long-exposure phone photo. Bright Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS Climbs into Evening View

The highly anticipated Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS will come into evening view for Northern Hemisphere observers starting October 11th.

Found the comet almost exactly as described from SE NC. Spotted first with 2x60 "constellation binoculars", then unaided eye. In the meantime, the S50 #Seestar 🔭 was able to find and image it. As the comet got lower, and the sky darkened, the tail reached about 20 degrees.

Saw #comet#Hestia still having trouble focusing. But I got it🧪🔭
