To date the only thing that's gone wrong with my dumb little L2 charger is the weather cap isn't weatherproof at all. Rain collects inside it and corrodes the socket. I almost bought one of these after a snowblower moment. OpenEVSE didnt have a robust portable one, so I took a chance on a grizzl-e mini. No app, no cloud, just local wifi and a built-in page for billing.
