Ended up in what used to be called "Todesstreifen" which translates as "Deathstrip". The area by the Berlin Wall that was part of Eastgermany. The strip of land was cleared, with watchtowes along the wall to prevent people escaping to West Berlin. It has been reforested since the fall of the wall
