Dumb subconscious or wherever dreams come from. Some guys filling out paperwork, one guy asks the other, "hey, what's a good blood-type for Ed?" (referring to O+/-, etc). The other guy helping him out shoots back with "Alcohol." First guy exasperatedly smacks his hand onto his forehead.
(I'm under the assumption Ed drinks a lot.)
