Bookshop is great. Love it, love the sale. Lesser known info: Bookshop gets its books from Ingram. Ingram is where most indie booksellers order their books. Ingram handles distribution for most smaller presses. It’s a monopolistic company (that donates a ton to the GOP)
No ethical consumption under capitalism, and all that. *sigh* *grumble*

No consume ethical capital
As an indie publisher, I've had worse experiences with Ingram overall compared to Amazon, and I usually ask customers to buy via Amazon. Both options are shit but Amazon (somehow) operates with more transparency.
Ingram were complete dicks about the whole Small Press Distribution fiasco. Stored stuff for a few months & told small presses if you don’t pick it up we’ll toss it.
