Has any journalist outlets written about or FOIAed anything about the decision of NASA/US govt to turn to SpaceX for its nigh sole service provider? There's a degree of will govt decision and willful govt inaction in enabling/propping up SpaceX that I'm not certain has really been written about.

That’s a downside of the capitalism. Those who have a good luck have too much power. They don’t even acknowledge their wealth and influence stem from a luck, but they believe it’s because of their hard work and intelligence.
