Trump keeps repeating that everyone wanted the decision returned to the states. No, only conservatives wanted this. They want all abortions illegal with various degrees of exceptions or not. Mainly not. And they would definitely ban abortions nationwide if they could.
This is particularly ironic since a majority of "the people" want to protect a woman's right to choose what happens to her body.
