Is anyone asking "and who decides if it's free and fair?"
They know the elections are "free and fair" whatever the fuck that even means. They're just doing this for show.
They need to ask, “If Trump wins, will you certify the election?” Then immediately ask, “If Harris wins, will you certify the election?” They need to start asking both outcomes because the answers are different. Republicans think the only ‘free and fair’ elections are ones they win.
“If it’s a free and fair election” just means “No”. It’s the same thing as promising violence.

They really have their "had my fingers crossed behind my back" talking point deployed, huh?
That will always be their out and excuse for the foreseeable future. If they lose it can’t have been free and fair.
If the media is going to pretend that these statements are anything but hedges to excuse throwing out the results they could at least run the excuses to their logical conclusions. Ask what conduct they're worried about and what they're doing to help improve election security.
